Exinda CLI: Processes

Overview

This article provides detailed information regarding the Exinda CLI command process.

You can use the show pm process command to view information on a running process or service.

NOTE: The following syntax convention is used:

{}: Options are enclosed in braces and are separated by '|'
[]: Optional keywords are enclosed in brackets
<>: User input is required where variables are enclosed in greater-than and less-than symbols

The following table describes the commands used for performing common actions related to processes:

Action Description	Command	Parameter Description
To show the information on a running process or service	`show pm process <process-name>`	Not Applicable
To view CPU and memory use of all processes	`show processes limit <num>`	limit <num> - Show processes, limiting the number of lines displayed. Use this to generate a "top N" style display. The default sort order is CPU usage
	`show processes sort {cpu\|memory\|time}`	sort {cpu\|memory\|time} - Sort processes by CPU usage, memory (RSS as a percentage of total) or process time
	`show processes threads`	threads - Show process threads
