Overview

GFI MailEssentials can be configured to block messages that contain remote images.
When this feature is enabled, GFI MailEssentials blocks all messages that contain remote images with a minimum HTML body size of 512 characters or according to the value configured. This article provides instructions to configure this feature.

Process

To configure these options follow the steps below:

1. Log in to GFI MailEssentials with administrative credentials.
2. Navigate to  Anti-spam > Anti-Spam Filters > Header Checking > General.
3. Check the option Check if email contains remote images only.
4. Optionally edit the value in the textbox Minimum HTML body size.
