What are the 100 MB files building up within the LanGuard directory?

Answer

These files can sometimes be found in anyone of the below locations,

• C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GFI\LanGuard 11\ (on a 2003 class computer)
• c:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11 (on a Windows 7 and higher class computer)

These are Temp database files that are not deleting properly. They can safely be deleted.

NOTE: This issue has been fixed in LanGuard 2014 R2 (version 11.3 - build 20140512)
