Problem Summary

The 'Validation fails on some of your applications? Let us know...' link under Configuration > Application Auto-uninstall Validation does nothing when the customer clicks on it.

How to Identify

Clicking the link appears to do nothing. This only happens on the console when the machine does not have a email application installed. Note: Windows 2008 and higher do not include Outlook Express by default.

Workaround / Fix Details

Development intends to fix this in a future release Until then use the following workaround: Send an email in the following format TO: feedbacklnss@gfi.com SUBJECT: "Auto-Uninstall Validation Failed" BODY: "Hi, Application Name: [Specify full application name here] Publisher: [Specify publisher] Version: [Specify application version] Comments: [Specify any other details we should know e.g. build number] "
