TT / JIRAID
LANguard-114
How to Identify
Prior to establishing the connection from the LANguard server the following setting is configured for remote connections on the target server. Operating Systems Affected: Vista, Windows 7 and 2008 Computer -> Properties -> Remote "Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (more secure)" LanGuard will detect that this setting is disabled and ask if it should be enabled. (incorrectly identifying this setting). Yes is selected and the connection is opened. The remote settings for this target will now show the following option configured. "Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop (less secure)"
Workaround / Fix Details
Do not use LanGuard to open RDP connections to any of the effected operation systems until a patch is released.
