Overview

• GFI LanGuard 12, as opposed to previous versions, uses a dynamic list of files. For this reason, it is not possible to provide a static text file with an exhaustive list of files.

Resolution

To upgrade GFI LanGuard 12 is a secure network:

1. Connect to http://lnsupdate.gfi.com on a machine that can access the Internet.
2. Download the following files:

• index.txt
• Lnss12updateinfo.xml
• lanss_12_2_patchmngmt.7z
• lanss_11_2_mobiledevicedata.7z
• lanss_11_2_mobiledevicematch.7z
• lanss_11_4_vulns.7z
• lanss_11_mnspdata.7z
• lanss_11_patchmngmtprerequisites_v5x.7z
• lanss_11_patchmngmtprerequisites_x64.7z
• lanss_11_patchmngmtprerequisites_x86.7z

1. Download all files for which the name starts with "lanss_12_4"
