Diagnosis

The account being used to scan using Linux operating systems needs to be a local account.

Solution

1. Check if a supported Linux operating system is being used.
2. Use the credentials of a local user with SUDO privileges or the ROOT account. 
3. Perform a scan.

Users should now be able to scan using Linux without encountering the error.
