Overview

Administrators may wish to allow multiple users to perform administrative functions on the network via LanGuard, such as heads of different departments. This article explains if multiple users can log in to the LanGuard console at the same time.

Any LanGuard installation.

Information

• Only one user can be logged in to the GFI LanGuard console at a time to perform administrative tasks such as remediation jobs, or performing or scheduling scans.
  
  
• There is, however, the Central Management Server, which is a reporting instance with web-based access that allows for multiple logins.
  
  
• There is no administrative functionality from this instance, but the ability to gather reports on and determine courses of action based on these reports can provide additional value to the product offering.
