Wireless Devices Unable to Connect to WiFi

Root Cause

This can be caused by any of the below reasons:

  • The devices do not support 5 GHz.
  • The devices do not support WPA2 authentication.

Process

Changing the WiFi-Band

  1. In the Administration interface, go to Interfaces and WiFi.
  2. Click the WiFi button.
  3. In the Band drop-down list, switch to another band.

 

Changing the Authentication to WPA

  1. In the Administration interface, go to Interfaces and WiFi.
  2. Click on the WiFi button.
  3. Open WiFi Settings.
  4. In the Security drop-down menu, select WPA Enterprise.
