Overview

After editing and saving an event processing rule, the setting event logs / log names might get cleared.

Environment

EventsManager 2012 SR1 build 20120214

Root Cause

This error occurs when a customer edits an event processing rule and saves the changes.

To confirm this behavior, follow the steps given below:

1. Open the rule's properties again.
2. Go to the event logs tab.
3. Confirm that the log names field is empty.

Resolution

Set the log names field again.
