Do I need to purchase an MS SQL Server license to use GFI EventsManager?

GFI EventsManager 2011 and previous versions support all editions of MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, including the freeware editions MSDE/Express Edition.

NOTE:

• Should the freeware editions be too limited for your network you will need to upgrade to a higher level SQL Server edition.
• GFI EventsManager 2012 and newer installations do not require a MS SQL Server database.
