Can I reduce the time between when an event happens and when I receive a notification in GFI EventsManager?

Event notifications are processed after events are collected from their source. For windows events, this time interval can be adjusted by following these instructions:

1. Right click the Event Source or the parent group of the event source and click Properties
2. Reduce the time interval for the Scheduled scanning option on the General tab
3. Click Apply then OK
