 This article provides the release notes of GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 1.

Information

Type - Release.  

Improvements - Support for Microsoft Exchange 2013.  

Resolves - GFI FaxMaker MTA service may crash when using certain GSM modems to send SMS.  

Known Issue

The Public Contacts feature in GFI FaxMaker 2013 Service Release 1 will not work until the release of Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP3.  

Installation Requirements 

• If installing on Microsoft IIS SMTP (x86), Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, then Microsoft IIS with SMTP Service installation is required.
• If installing on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010, then Exchange 2007/2010 Hub Transport Server Role must be present.
