Overview

Outbound fax transmission can be stopped, after which fax can be removed from the queue. This article provides the process to perform these actions.

Process

In order to stop an active fax transmission, or to remove the transmission from the queued faxes, open GFI FaxMaker Monitor console and perform the following steps:

Stopping active fax transmission

1. Navigate to the Fax Server node
2. Click the Abort button

Deleting the fax from the queue

1. Browse to the Queued Faxes node
2. Select the outbound fax that should be deleted from the queue
3. Click the Delete button.

Please note when the data transmission of fax is taking place actively, it is not possible to modify or replace its content. The user might consider to abort the active fax transmission and then to remove the outbound fax from the fax queue, thereafter re-sending with new content.
