Overview

The New Hosts Graph (7.0.3) gets truncated every hour. This article details the reasons behind this issue and its resolution. 

Root Cause

At some point, the mysqld service failed and came back. In case that happens, it is necessary to restart the mysqld service along with configd and datad.

Resolution

Open a support case so that the  mysqld, configd and datad processes can be restarted.
