Overview

Response from Edge Cache says the connection was refused. When edge cache is enabled if the server refuses a connection, edge cache will reply with the notice below:

Error: The requested URL could not be retrieved.
The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.example.com
System returned: (111) connection refused
The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

Root Cause

The Exinda replies with this notice because, in response to the SYN that is sent to the server, the server responds with a connection RESET.

The server is refusing to process the request by sending a RESET. This could be that the server is busy at this time.

Resolution

 Try the request again in a few minutes.
