Exinda CLI: Windows Authentication

Overview

This article provides information regarding the Exinda CLI command windows authentication.

You can use the windows authentication command to configure local user accounts.

NOTE: The following syntax convention is used:

{}: Options are enclosed in braces and are separated by '|'.
[]: Optional keywords are enclosed in brackets.
<>: User input is required where variables are enclosed in greater-than and less-than symbols

The following table describes the commands used for performing common actions related to windows authentication:

Action Description	Command	Parameter Description
To add or remove the domain	`[no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name>`	NA (Not Applicable)
To add or remove the username & password for logging in to the domain	`[no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name> {username\|password}`	username <username> - Set the username for the specified domain password <password> - Set the password for the specified domain
To enable or disable the Windows authentication credentials	`[no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name> enable`	NA (Not Applicable)
