Exinda CLI: Windows Authentication

Overview

 

This article provides information regarding the Exinda CLI command windows authentication.

You can use the windows authentication command to configure local user accounts.

 


Information

 

NOTE:  The following syntax convention is used:
  • {}: Options are enclosed in braces and are separated by '|'.
  • []: Optional keywords are enclosed in brackets.
  • <>: User input is required where variables are enclosed in greater-than and less-than symbols

 

The following table describes the commands used for performing common actions related to windows authentication:

 

 Action Description Command  Parameter Description 
To add or remove the domain

[no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name>

NA (Not Applicable) 
To add or remove the username & password for logging in to the domain [no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name> {username|password}
  • username <username> - Set the username for the specified domain
  • password <password> - Set the password for the specified domain

To enable or disable the Windows authentication credentials

[no] windows authentication credentials <domain-name> enable NA (Not Applicable)
