Scheduling Email Delivery in Kerio Connect

Overview

This article describes the process of scheduling email delivery. In Kerio Connect, you can schedule email delivery to:

• Download messages from a remote POP3 server
• Receive messages using the ETRN command to defined servers
• Send messages from the message queue

Preconditions

Configure scheduling if you;

• Use POP3 or ETRN;
• Have a permanent Internet connection; and
• Connect to the Internet via a dial-up line.

Configuring Scheduling

Follow these steps to add a new scheduled task:

1. In the administration interface, go to Configuration > Delivery > Scheduling.
2. Click Add.
3. Type a Description as a reference for the task. 
4. Specify the Time condition. You can schedule tasks to happen:
   • Every specific number of minutes or hours; or
   • At a particular time every day.
5. To limit the scheduling to a specific time range, select Valid only at time, and select a time range.
6. Specify the Action that Kerio Connect performs. You can schedule any of these actions:
   • Send messages from the message queue
   • Download messages through POP3
   • Send an ETRN command
7. Click OK.
