Configuring EmailSecurity to Delete Emails to Non-Existent Users

Overview

Emails which have been quarantined that contain non-existent users can be automatically deleted. This article provides instructions to configure this feature.

Process

Follow the instructions provided below:

  1. Open GFI MailEssentials ConfigurationQuarantine > Quarantine Options > Malware Options.
  2. In the Nonexistent Recipients tab, check the option Delete quarantined emails for nonexistent recipients.
    Note:
    This setting is similar to that of Directory Harvesting under Antispam Filters.
