How to extend the logging period for GFI MailEssentials ( ONLY)

To extend the logging period (and log file size) for the Antispam portion of GFI MailEssentials 2012 or 2014, please follow these steps:

1. In the Registry Editor navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GFI\MailEssentials\Antispam\Config key
2. Look for the entry extlogsize. If it does not exist you can create it: it has to be a DWORD(32bit). The value will represent MBs.
3. The default size for logs in GFI MailEssentials is 5 MB (~40k messages), so to extend them to 20 MB per log file, make the value to 20.
4. Close regedit and restart the GFI services
