GFI MailEssentials supports scanning emails for users in multiple Active Directory domains. However, please consider:

• If GFI MailEssentials is installed on the same machine as Microsoft Exchange 2000 / 2003 or you have chosen to retrieve users from Active Directory during the installation of GFI MailEssentials, user-based disclaimers can only be configured for users in the same domain where GFI MailEssentials is installed.
• As a workaround, GFI MailEssentials can be installed in a gateway mode (on a different machine from Microsoft Exchange Server) and during the installation, the administrator does not need to retrieve users from Active Directory.
