2. Anti-Spam Filters (operates at SMTP protocol level (Greylist, Directory harvesting, IP blocklist, IP DNS Blocklist)
3. Decompression Engine
4. Virus Scanning Engine
5. Trojan Scanner
6. Email Exploit Detector
7. HTML Script Removal
8. Attachment Checking
9. Content Checking
10. Anti Spam Filters (by Filter Priority)

Notes:

• This processing order cannot be changed.
• The Virus Scanning Engines, the Attachment Checking Rules and the Content Checking rules can have their own rule priority which can be changed.
