REGARDING THE SCHEMA UPGRADE OF ARCHIVE STORES
When performing a regular upgrade the schema of the Archive Stores resp. databases is performed though the BulkSchemaUpgrader.
In case an Archive Store is not attached to the GFI MailArchiver installation when the upgrade is performed, the schema will be upgraded automatically once the Archive Store is attached at any later point in time.
This applies to any Archive Store from GFI MailArchiver 4 or newer.
Microsoft SQL based Archive Stores from GFI MailArchiver 3 can also be attached to current versions, but they will be attached in a read-only mode and no new emails can be stored in them.
