Forcefully Resynchronize User Mailbox for Mailbox Folder Structure Retrieval

Overview

This article describes the process to forcefully resynchronize the whole user mailbox for the Mailbox Folder Structure Retrieval.

Process

To resynchronize forcefully, follow the steps as mentioned below:

  1. Stop the GFI Archiver Core service.
  2. Open the folder: ..\GFI\Archiver\Core\UMPolling
  3. Delete the cookie for the mailbox in question. The file contains the email address of the user in the file name and ends with .dat; for example, UMPEWSCook_user@domain.com.dat or UMPollCook_user@domain.com.dat
  4. Start the GFI Archiver Core service.

NOTE: Ensure that the email address of the mailbox which the cookie has been deleted for is visible in the Microsoft Exchange Global Catalog.
