When trying to scan a machine which name that starts with a digit, for example, 1DC-win2008, following error message is produced:

Invalid target

Root Cause

It is a known issue, and future patch updates resolve it.

Resolution

To resolve the issue mentioned previously, Patch is available via auto-updates. It is suggested to enable auto-update and escalate if the problem persists.
