Creating Custom Reports in GFI EventsManager

Overview

This article provides step-by-step processes on creating custom reports in GFI EventsManager.

Process

To create a new report based on an existing report:

  1. Open the GFI EventsManager Console.
  2. Click the Reporting tab.
  3. Expand the folder containing the report that is most likely the new report you wish to create.
  4. Select the report, right-click it and select Copy Report.
  5. Right-click again in the area you want to add the new report and select Paste Report.
  6. Right-click the new report and select Properties to modify it as desired.

To create a new report from scratch:

  1. Open the GFI EventsManager Console.
  2. Select the folder you want your new reports to go in.
  3. Click the Create Report link under Actions.
  4. Configure your report as desired and click OK.
