In the GFI EventsManager Console > Status > Job Activity > Operational History, the message
Data Maintenance not allowed now is continuously being shown.

This article briefly explains why the message is shown and what actions are needed, if any.

Root Cause

With the new release of GFI EventsManager 2013 SR1 Build 20130606, a new log was added to the Operational History to show the maintenance task status.
