Overview
Every event saved to the EventsManager database will cause the database to grow. This article provides information on database growth rate which can be used to forecast space and network usage before installing GFI EventsManager.

Notes:
- It is possible to control which events are created on each monitored machine using Audit Policies. It is recommended to enable only the audit policies which are required to prevent unnecessary use of network bandwidth.
- It is possible to control which events are stored in the database used by GFI EventsManager. This can be done using the Event Processing Rules from the GFI EventsManager configuration.
