Overview
When a configuration that affects provisioned phones is changed in Kerio Operator, e.g. when a new call route is created, such provisioned phones need to be restarted. This article provides the steps to restart provisioned phones in Kerio Operator.
Information
During a configuration change, a dialog window recommending a phone restart is always displayed. You can restart immediately, although there are instances when a reboot is not possible, especially if it will impact production. You may skip the restart process and choose to do it later by following the procedure described herein.
Note: Some Cisco phones from newer series cannot be restarted automatically. In cases of configuration changes, you may need to reset the phones manually; this does not apply to the Cisco SPA phones.
Process
-
In Kerio Operator's administration interface, navigate to Configuration > Provisioned Phones.
-
Click on Advanced and then Resync Phones.
-
A pop-up window appears, and here you can schedule when the restart should take place. Set the Date and time and click OK.
Confirmation
The scheduled time you set now appears at the upper side of the interface, in the Hardware Phones tab.
