Default Ports Used by GFI FaxMaker

Overview

This article provides information on the default ports and their functions in GFI FaxMaker.

Please refer to the table below for the default port assignments.

Port	Description
25 TCP	Used to send/receive email fax messages
80 TCP	Used to send an SMS via a particular hosted SMS provider
110 TCP	Used to download emails from POP3 mailboxes
1720 TCP	Used for H323 communication (FOIP - Fax Over IP)
5060 TCP	Used for SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) communication (FOIP)
8555 TCP	Used for WSAPI (Web Services API)
