PROBLEM

Outbound email fax requests for GFI FAXmaker are atteched the GFI MailEssentials disclaimer.

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI MailEssentials

SOLUTION

To resolve this issue, the 'faxmaker.com' domain has to be listed as a local domain in GFI MailEssentials configuration. Proceed as follows:

1. Open the GFI MailEssentials Configuration
2. Right click on the ‘General’ node -> ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Domains’ tab
4. Add 'faxmaker.com' as a domain. (Without the quotes.)
5. Click on ‘Ok’ to apply changes

If GFI FAXmaker was installed before GFI MailEssentials, the GFI MailEssentials installation will add the ‘faxmaker.com’ domain automatically to the Local Domains list .

CAUSE

The outbound email fax requests are being scanned by GFI MailEssentials.
