PROBLEM

Nothing happens when printing to the NetPrintQueue2Fax (NPQ2F) printer.

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker
• All Supported Environments

SOLUTION

1. You need to set the NTFS security permissions* of the FaxMaker folder and all its subfolders to Everyone, Full control
2. Make sure the user printing to the NPQ2F printer is listed in GFI FaxMaker Configuration > Licensed Users
3. Make sure the user printing to the NPQ2F printer in the list of Licensed Users has an email address listed 

Note:

*This is not a security breach since no shares are being set to Everyone. Only the NTFS folder security needs to be set.

CAUSE

GFI FaxMaker needs to write to its own program folder.
