Installing the GFI FaxMaker Nuance eCopy ShareScan Connector

Overview

GFI FaxMaker 2013 or higher enables sending faxes using network-connected multi-function peripherals - MFPs. This feature works with MFPs that are managed using Nuance eCopy ShareScan. For an additional fee, compatible devices can be licensed through Nuance. These fees are maintained by Nuance only. GFI FaxMaker will provide a free downloadable connector that will interface with the Nuance SDK.
This article provides the steps to install the GFI FaxMaker Nuance eCopy ShareScan Connector.

 

Process

To install the GFI FaxMaker Nuance eCopy ShareScan Connector, follow the steps below:

  1. Close Nuance eCopy ShareScan Administration Console.
  2. Download the GFI FaxMaker Nuance eCopy ShareScan Connector setup file to the Nuance eCopy ShareScan server.
  3. Run the setup file and click Install.
  4. Click Finish.

Note: During installation, some Nuance eCopy ShareScan services may be stopped by the installer.
