Message Transfer Agent Is Not Starting

Overview

Message Transfer Agent does not start when files are in the FaxMaker\SinkDrop folder.  When the files are removed, the service starts.

Information

Root Cause

An automatic update was pushed out on 02/28/18 which contained a patch (For reference only: GFIFM-3120_fmgwinet.zip) that was not correct. This patch caused the Message Transfer Agent failure.

Resolution

The patch was reverted in the auto-updates and pushed out.

Confirmation

The Message Transfer Agent will start successfully.
