Default Gateway Not Showing on CLI

Overview

The configured default gateway is not shown in the CLI (command-line interface) on Exinda devices running versions 7.4.6 and 7.4.7. To reproduce this issue, follow the below steps:

  1. In the Exinda device, log in to the CLI.
  2. Execute the below commands:

    en
    conf t
    show ip default-gateway

When executing the show ip default-gateway command, this is the output the user receives:

Active default gateways:
#/net/routes/state/ipv4/prefix/0.0.0.0\/0/nh/1/gw# (interface:      #e:none~v:~m:none~/net/routes/state/ipv4/prefix/0.0.0.0\/0/nh/1/interface#)

A device running version 7.4.5, on the other hand, shows the correct information when executing the show ip default-gateway command:

 Active default gateways:
   10.170.16.1 (interface: eth1)

Note: This issue does not seem to affect performance so far.

Environment

ExOS versions 7.4.6 and 7.4.7.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in ExOS version 7.4.9. For a permanent fix, upgrade to ExOS version 7.4.9 or higher.
