Virtual Exinda on ESXi still not showing bypass capability

Overview

If you have followed the instructions on the article to enable bypass drivers and the Exinda device still showing that it cannot find compatible interfaces despite having Exinda supplied bypass interface you will have to check the interfaces:

ALL the interfaces on the Exinda should have Adapter Type VMNET3. This is highlighted on the illustration below. Make sure to check all the interfaces, even the management interface that was created when deploying the Exinda.


If one of the interfaces on the Exinda is different you will have to remove and re-add the interfaces. After this, reboot the Exinda and check if the bypass option is now available
