This covers Exindas that use the Dell hardware. LED Display will have a message relating to multi-bit memory errors: E.g.

In the logs there is hardware notices relating to memory transitions.

[hardwared.NOTICE]: SEL event : 2 | 02/08/2016 | 11:04:51 | Memory #0x1b | Transition to Critical from less severe
[hardwared.NOTICE]: SEL event : 2 | 02/13/2016 | 02:38:12 | Memory #0x1b | Transition to Non-critical from OK
[hardwared.NOTICE]: SEL event : 2 | 02/15/2016 | 10:09:14 | Memory #0x1b | Transition to Critical from less severe
[hardwared.NOTICE]: SEL event : 7 | 02/17/2016 | 11:13:05 | Memory #0x02 | Uncorrectable ECC | Asserted
This indicates there are memory errors occurring on a particular DIMM. The device will still be functioning with this notices.

If this is on an Exinda that is based on a Dell server, then you can open the device and re-seat the Memory and reboot the Exinda.

If these errors are persistent after a re-seating the Memory please open a case with support so we can investigate the issue.
