Check what port numbers are configured for HTTP and HTTPS access

Summary

In cases where the port number configured for HTTP or HTTPS is unknown, it is possible to find those port numbers from a console session with the Exinda.

Overview

In cases where the port number configured for HTTP or HTTPS is unknown, it is possible to find those port numbers from a console session with the Exinda. This may happen if a co-worker, previous administrator, etc. has changed the default port number for security reasons. This will make the web UI inaccessible unless you specify the new port number configured. The commands to run from CLI are:

en
show web

This will give the following example output (port numbers are bolded):

Web-based management console enabled: yes

HTTP enabled: no
HTTP port: 80
HTTP redirect to HTTPS: no
HTTPS enabled: yes
HTTPS port: 443
HTTPS certificate name: default-cert
Compression enabled: yes
Listen enabled: yes
No Listen Interfaces.
