Overview

This article provides troubleshooting instructions regarding instance where one suspects an application to be incorrectly removed. 

Information

If you suspect that an application you have not configured to be discarded is in fact being discarded check the following:

1. Check the policy which the application should be falling under to make sure that it is not mistakenly set to discard.

2. Check your other discard policies to make sure that this application was not added there by mistake.

3. In case your discard policies use application groups, check the specific application groups being discarded to make sure that the application is not part of these groups.

   An example of this would be a policy set to discard the P2P traffic. If your application falls in the P2P application group, either from the default Exinda application or was added later on then it will be discarded.
