Exinda CLI: WAN Memory

Overview

 

This article provides information regarding the Exinda CLI command acceleration wm.

You can use the acceleration wm command to configure WAN (Wide Area Network) Memory acceleration settings.

 


Information

 

NOTE:  The following syntax convention is used:
  • {}: Options are enclosed in braces and are separated by '|'
  • []: Optional keywords are enclosed in brackets
  • <>: User input is required where variables are enclosed in greater-than and less-than symbols

 

The following table describes the commands used for performing common actions related to acceleration wm:

To enable WAN Memory byte-level caching

acceleration wm enable Not Applicable 
To manage the WAN Memory cache acceleration wm cache {clear|sync}
  • cache clear [<amount>] — Clear the contents of the cache by expiring 100% of its contents or a specified amount, specified as a percentage or absolute bytes.
  • cache sync — Enable WAN Memory cache synchronization across all appliances in the cluster.
To clear or enable disk cache persistence on next restart acceleration wm persistence {clear|enable}
  • persistence clear - Clear the persistent information
  • persistence enable - Enable persistent storage

To enable LZ-compression or small matching

acceleration wm reduction {lz-compression|small-matcher} enable Not Applicable
