Process
Using Two-Step Verification
Two-step verification allows you to add an extra layer of security to your account by linking a secondary authenticator device. Once in place, the authenticator service generates a one-time password that is shared on your secondary device every time you sign in. This prevents the possibility for other users to access your account, even if they have your credentials.
Here are some of the authenticator applications that you can use to configure two-step verification:
- Google Authenticator: Available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone
- FreeOTP authenticator: Available for iOS and Android
- Authenticator for iOS
- Authenticator for Windows Phone
- WinAuth for Windows
