How to Identify
The issue has been noticed especially when the GFI MailEssentials Keyword filter contained a high amount of keywords which had to be processed (above 9 thousand entries each for body and subject). The SCore log file will show an interval of several seconds needed to process a single email: 2014-09-02,12:31:47,103,1,"#00002be8","#000020e4","info ","SCore","Scan: Calling [Content Checking]..." 2014-09-02,12:31:47,103,1,"#00002be8","#000020e4","info ","SCore","ResolveRules: user resolution is not necessary, exiting..." 2014-09-02,12:31:56,697,1,"#00002be8","#00001138","info ","SCore","Scan: Calling [Content Checking]...ok[27]" Note that in this case, it took the filter from second 47 to second 56 to process the email, about 9 seconds for one email.
