PROBLEM

GFI MailEssentials installation stops because the operating system locale has not been set to Russian.

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI MailEssentials
• All Supported Environments

SOLUTION

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or later

1. Log in to the server using an administrator account
2. Open the Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
3. Click on the Administrative tab and click on the Change system locale... button
4. Set the Current system locale to Russian (Russia)
5. Click OK

CAUSE

This error occurs when trying to install GFI MailEssentials in Russian and the operating system locale is not set to Russian.
