How to set the GFI MailEssentials antispam synchronization agent to work on a DAG or cluster

Answer

The ../Antispam Synchronization/Enterprise Transfer agent in GFI MailEssentials is designed to compress the whitelist.xml, autowhitelist.xml and blocklist.xml files from the GFI MailEssentials installation and to use the machine's hostname in the filename. If this machine is part of a DAG or cluster, the hostname will be shared between the servers.

Please follow the steps below to enable antispam synchronization:
  1. Open Regedit
  2. Navigate to the following registry key for GFI MailEssentials : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GFI\MailEssentials\AntiSpam\Config]
  3. Under the Config registry key, create the DWORD value SynchAgentNoClust, set it to Decimal and set the value to 1.
  4. Re-start the GFI MailEssentials Enterprise Transfer agent service
Choose files or drag and drop files
