Overview

A valid trial key shows the Antispam Filters as expired/not licensed. The logs contain the following errors:

Resolution

Warning: It is highly recommended to perform these steps in a test environment before applying the solution to the production environment. Contact GFI Customer Support for assistance if required.

1. Download patch_TT2815.zip.
2. Right-click the zip file and click Properties.
3. Select the General tab and click Unblock if it exists. Click OK.
4. Browse to the GFI\MailEssentials\AntiSpam folder and make a copy of the following files:
   • ls_pickup.dll
   • mailroute.dll
   • MTA.dll
5. Close the console and stop all GFI MailEssentials services.
6. Replace the above-mentioned files with the files found in the downloaded patch.
7. Start all the GFI MailEssentials services.
