This happens because of the blank SMTP sender, as the GFI MailEssentials disclaimers are domain\group\user based. The following patch solves the issue: http://ftp.gfisoftware.com/patches/ME2014/20140627/ME2014_R2_PATCH_20140827_14462016.zip
