PROBLEM

After upgrading to Microsoft Outlook 2013 from an older version of Microsoft Outlook, the GFI Archiver Outlook Connector and Archive Assistant no longer function.

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI MailArchiver 2012 SR2 or later
• GFI Archiver Outlook Connector and Archive Assistant
• Microsoft Outlook 2013

SOLUTION

Although Microsoft Outlook 2013 is supported in GFI MailArchiver 2012 SR2 or later, the GFI Archiver Outlook Connector and Archive Assistant must be re-installed manually after the upgrade to Microsoft Outlook 2013. Upon running the setup again, you can either repair the existing installation or uninstall and re-install the Outlook Connector or Archive Assistant.

CAUSE

The GFI Archiver Outlook Connector and Archive Assistant must be re-installed after upgrading to Microsoft Outlook 2013.
