Overview

This article describes the process to import EML files into GFI Archiver.

Process

1. Open the command prompt.
2. Use the cd command to navigate to the directory with the EML files.
3. Execute the following command: ren *.EML *.Q
4. Copy the .Q files to ..\GFI\Archiver\MAIS\Pickup (either by command line or Windows Explorer. Depending on the number of files it may be better doing it in cmd.exe).
5. The GFI Archiver Import Service (MAIS) should then start importing these files.
