Overview

This article describes the errors and their resolution which occur when certain attachments of emails fail to get indexed. The following errors are logged in: ..\\FailedAttachments.txt and ..\MailArchiver\Search\DebugLogs\IndexableAttachment.log

Error 1: System.NotSupportedException: The given path's format is not supported.

Error 2: System.ArgumentException: Illegal characters in path.

Environment

GFI Archiver Build 20130704, 20130723

Resolution

Upgrade to MARC 2013 R2 (and rebuild indexes if needed).
