Why am I am getting malicious script alerts from my Norton Antivirus immediately after installing GFI LANguard?

GFI LANguard makes use of vbs scripts to install and un-install certain components. These vbs scripts make use of custom APIs, and because of this, are detected as potentially malicious by Norton Antivirus.

The vbs scripts that are marked as potentially malicious are InstallScript.vbs and UnInstallScript.vbs, both found in the GFI LANguard directory.

The Norton Antivirus alerts on the scripts mentioned above can be ignored.
